Descriptions

In Indian homes, Diwali begins long before the first diya is lit. We clean the floors, air out the linens, refresh the cupboards, and make the house ready to welcome Lakshmi, light and guests. Gruha Sanskar means the rituals of the home. This collection honours that tradition, with one fragrant step for each part of the house.

What’s inside the box

1. Botanical Floor Cleanse: A fragrant floor cleanser for the first Diwali ritual. Add 4 capfuls (about 10 ml) to half a bucket of water and mop.

2. Linen Fresh: A room and fabric mist for curtains, cushions and linens. Spray lightly from a distance in a closed room and let it dry naturally.

3. Wardrobe Bloom: A hanging wooden-cap diffuser that keeps cupboards and festive clothes softly scented. Hang it upright, away from direct contact with fabric.

4. Sacred Jasmine: A diffuser oil with the soft floral scent of jasmine. Add 6–7 drops to water in the brass burner.

5. Camphor Cleanse: Camphor, used traditionally to cleanse the air before prayer. Warm a small amount in the brass burner, in a well-ventilated space.

6. Brass Burner: A two-tier brass ritual burner for diffuser oils or camphor. Light a tealight below and let the gentle warmth release the fragrance. It’s yours to keep and use all year.

7. Sandalwood Diyas: Ceramic lotus diyas filled with sandalwood-scented wax. Once the wax burns down, clean the diyas and reuse them for future pujas.

8. Sandalwood Dhoop: Classic sandalwood dhoop sticks with a holder, for the evening aarti.

9. Pankhudi: A solid perfume tin, the final personal touch. Dab it on your wrists and neck as you dress for the celebrations.

A Diwali home ritual, from morning to night

  • Morning: cleanse. Mop the floors with Botanical Floor Cleanse and mist curtains and cushions with Linen Fresh.
  • Afternoon: refresh. Hang Wardrobe Bloom in the cupboard where your festive clothes are waiting.
  • Evening: illuminate. Warm Camphor Cleanse or Sacred Jasmine in the brass burner, light the Sandalwood Diyas at the entrance, and offer Sandalwood Dhoop at the mandir.
  • Finally, you. Wear a touch of Pankhudi and welcome your guests.

Why gift Gruha Sanskar this Diwali?

Most Diwali gift hampers are eaten in a day. Gruha Sanskar becomes part of how a home celebrates, and the brass burner and ceramic diyas stay on for every festival after this one. That makes it a meaningful Diwali gift for family, a warm housewarming gift for a home’s first Diwali, and an elegant corporate Diwali gift for clients and teams.
